The Freedom Old Home Week Association is hard at work preparing for the OHW Parade. Now is your opportunity to be part of the parade magic! We are looking for groups or individuals to register for the parade.
This year’s theme is “It’s A Freedom Thing”. We welcome participants to incorporate this theme into their contribution to the parade if they choose. There will be live voting during the parade to compete in the “Best In Show” Contest. Those competing will have the opportunity to perform or showcase themselves in front of the panel of volunteer judges, in front of Town Hall as they walk by. Winners in each category will be announced and awards will be handed out as participants walk back to the judges the second time they reach Town Hall.
Those that complete early registration for the parade by July 10th are guaranteed a prime spot within the parade line up and will be able to participate in the “Best in Show” contest. To register early, click the link below to fill out the short form so the parade committee can learn more about your entry and interest in participating in the voting contest.
While we encourage early registration, the online registration form will remain open until Thursday, July 24th. Late registrations on the day of the parade will be accepted, using paper forms found at the check-in area on parade day.
For questions about early parade registration please contact Bill Carney - wac0662@verizon.net or Robyn Thomas - rcknrbyn86@gmail.com
