Call for Nominations - FREEDOM OLD HOME WEEK ExecuTIVE BOARD

Freedom Old Home Week (FOHW) is a 100+ year old tradition that we are proud of and cherish. It’s a celebration of community, organized by a team of dedicated volunteers. All of us share the same love and passion for making sure FOHW events are fun and inclusive for all. And we are committed to working together to keep this amazing small town tradition alive.

The Executive Board meets monthly at Association meetings from January to August (usually the first Saturday of the month). Our meetings are hybrid (in-person at the Town Hall and on Zoom). An Annual Meeting is held each January for all members.

The Freedom Old Home Week Association is seeking new members, and especially welcomes nominations and self-nominations for the following Executive Board positions, each with an initial term of office of one (1) year (please click the button below to access the FOHWA positions descriptions):

• Chairperson
• Vice Chairperson
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Directors (5)

Eligibility (it’s pretty simple!)

• All Freedom year-round and seasonal residents are eligible to nominate or self-nominate.

The Nominations Process (It’s easy!)

• If you are nominating a friend/colleague, please include the nominee’s name and contact information and be sure to specify the position to which you are nominating her/him. The Nominations Committee will contact your nominee and ask them to take the next steps in the nominations process. 
• If you are self-nominating, let us know what position you are interested in and include a brief summary about your background, skill sets, and strengths that you’d like to bring into the position. We’d also love to hear more about your reason for why you are interested in serving as an Executive Board member of FOHWA. Be sure to include your phone number and e-mail address  so we can follow-up with you directly.
• If you’d prefer to email (or mail) your nomination, please send it to freedomfohw@gmail.com, or pop it in the mail to Freedom Old Home Week Association, P.O. Box 359, Freedom NH 03836 (Attn: Nominations Committee)
