Every Summer the community of Freedom is one of only five NH towns that celebrate an “Old Home Week” ⎻ a unique idea initiated by NH Governor Frank W. Rollins in 1899 and officially recognized by Proclamation in the New Hampshire State Legislature in 1913. Going strong for more than a century, Freedom Old Home Week (FOHW) is a time for residents, guests, their friends and their families to attend and participate in fun and informative activities and events throughout Freedom.
We focus on making FOHW fun and accessible for everyone in our community. Our volunteers provide the momentum that helps deliver events that bring people together to socialize, engage, eat, laugh (and sometimes sing!) and more. It really is all about celebrating this beautiful town we are all proud to call Freedom.
Our amazing team of volunteers are the reason FOHW is enjoyed by all ages each year! We take our love of Freedom and share it together - having fun along the way! Think you would be a good fit? Get in touch for more information!
